I am a very loving, caring, active person. I love helping people and enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. I love routines but also enjoy being spontaneous, some of my good qualities are loyalty, nurturing, caring, being supportive, strong, athletic and energetic.

Mike and I are truly best friends and we enjoy spending time together, whether being quiet at home or riding our mountain bikes. I also love spending time with our families and friends, being social is very important to me.

I grew up babysitting my cousins who lived one house away from my parents and continued to babysit into my adult life. I still find myself watching my friends kids when they need an extra hand.

I rode horses starting at the age of seven and rode all through my school years, it taught me a lot of responsibility and structure. I had to overcome fear and learned to work side by side with an amazing animal. I still love to ride horses but no longer do it on a daily basis. My new passion is riding mountain bikes, the biking community in Bellingham is amazing and I feel very fortunate to be a part of it.

I love my job and being able to make a difference in people's lives and caring for the most vulnerable in our community. I have worked for CCS (Catholic Community Services) for almost eight years and it is wonderful. My job has evolved over the years and now I have a very flexible job working on special projects for the Regional Chief of Operations.

In January 2013 I ran a marathon in Japan, it was a wonderful experience, I got the opportunity through Bellingham Sister City Association. I stayed with a host family and learned a lot about Japanese culture. Running a marathon was a big accomplishment and I feel lucky I got to do it in Japan.

I am yearning for a child to share my life with and watch them grow and guide them to become an amazing person. I have learned so much and have so much love to give and beyond ready to share my enthusiasm for life and adventure.

Mike is the sixth of seven children, there are five boys and two girls. He had a adventurous childhood and lots of fun with his siblings. He is still best friends with all of them and we see them on a regular basis. His family is from Bainbridge Island, WA and that is where we spent most of his childhood. When he was in middle school his family moved to Georgia for a couple of years for a job for his dad. He enjoyed getting to know a different part of the country and has very fond memories. Mike has always had a passion for the outdoors and spends his winters snowboarding/skiing and the summers riding his mountain bike or hiking.

After high school Mike lived in Whistler, Wyoming and Hawaii. He then found came back to his roots in the Pacific Northwest and started his career as a firefighter. Mike has always had a passion for helping people and his family. Everyone that meets Mike instantly loves him and he makes them feel important.

Mike has a lot of great qualities, he is strong, loyal, passionate for life, family centered, nurturing, patient, caring and loving. He is a great friend, partner and husband.

We live in the Columbia Neighborhood in Bellingham, WA. We live on a quite street with great neighbors and lots of kids running around playing and riding their bikes or scooters. Our house is approx five blocks from the Elementary School and most kids walk or ride to school. We have a two story house, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a fenced yard. There are a lot of parks walking distance to our house and one brand new one just two blocks away.

Andrea's office is downtown Bellingham, a quick five minute drive or ten minute bike ride. Mike works down South near our families, so his commute is two hours, but lucky for him it's only once a week. His firefighter schedule is two days on and four days off. Andrea's job is very flexible and she can sometimes work from home, so between the two of them and family/friend support our child won't have to attend day care.

We love entertaining at our house, we remodeled our kitchen and living space last year and since then it has been amazing. Friends and family over all the time making dinner and enjoying each other's company.
