We met swing dancing at an event, and were married one year later. We are always up for trying new things and new adventures. When we go hiking or walking on the beach Michael usually finds some rocks or trees to climb. Clare is a close follow behind her dad and loves to see how well she can climb too.

On Saturday nights we have family ‘movie night’ in our living room. We usually have pizza, popcorn and a family movie. This is something we look forward to all times of the year. If we miss one, Clare is quick to reschedule it for Sunday or another day.

Noreen is the most kindest, beautiful, and giving person I know. Her personality is energetic, loving and filled with life. She will often bend over backwards for anyone and sacrifice her own happiness to make someone else happy. One of her best qualities is her ability to make friends easily. I am always amazed on how quickly she can do this. She’s the kind of person that can go into a any store and by the time she comes out may have addresses, phone numbers and even made plans with some of the people she talked with. Noreen is a devoted wife and mother, who is caring, nurturing, intelligent, and has a strong faith in God. She practises her faith regularly by going to church on Sunday and lives by it’s teachings. As proof of her commitment to these Christian values, she has put aside her own beloved career as an engineer to be a stay at home mom.
Noreen is very much an active outdoor person. One of the things that attracted me to her when dating was when we went to the beach. She wasn’t afraid of the big waves, to get wet, body surf or play a game in the sand. She also enjoys dancing, hiking, walking and site seeing. I am very grateful to Noreen for being my wife.

Michael is my rock. He is a trustworthy, loyal, warm, fun loving husband and father. He is very caring, affectionate and protective of both my daughter and me. He is also compassionate, friendly, and really down to earth.
To see Michael as a father to Clare makes me love him even more! He is very engaging and one hundred percent involved in bringing her up. He not only teaches her how to have good character, and to be kind, but also gives her a lot of attention. It brings such joy to my heart as I watch them play together, in games of make believe ‘knights and princess’ or how Clare ‘teaches’ him her Irish Dancing steps. They also have special ‘Daddy and Clare’ time, when they go to the library, get an ice cream or do an arts and craft project.
Michael is adventurous and loves the outdoors. When we go hiking or walking on the beach, he may climb some rocks or trees. Clare is always close to follow! Michael never went boogie boarding in his life ‘till he met my family and me. Now, before we go to just any beach, we have to make sure there are waves he can
surf! Michael has also made a lot of sacrifices for me to be a stay at home mom. We share an understanding of how important it is for children to spend time with there own parents and not a nanny or paid nursery. I am truly blessed to have him as a husband and father!

We live in a small town in Connecticut. Our house is on a quarter of an acre in a neighborhood with lots of woods to explore behind everyones backyard. Although it feels we are in a country setting with lots of trees we are walking distance from town. We love our town especially Clare since it has four ice-cream shops, a movie theatre and a lot of restaurants. Its a good walking town for kids and teens with brick line sidewalks a nice library and many parks. The School district is rated one of the top in the nation. That is one of the reasons we chose to live here, although we do make some sacrifice for this decision in that our home is a little smaller compared to other towns who's school districts aren't as good.
