You can say we met in a unique way. Darren's sister, was a student of Jennifer in the school that we went to as children ourselves. We actually sat next to each other in homeroom. 15 or so years went by, and different education paths, we lost touch. On the last day of Darren's sisters school year, she made Darren pick her up at school to met someone who he knew many years ago. Since then we have been together. We are a fun loving couple, and are each other's best friend as well. We are both ready and eager to be parents! We actually take many opportunities to watch our nephews because of the enjoyment we get out of caring for them and letting them enjoy new experiences.

Jennifer is gentle and compassionate, focused and dedicated. She has an amazing knack for having fun with children. She is my wife and my life! She looks at every day with passion and enjoys every moment like its the best moment ever. She goes way beyond what's expected to make family and friends feel special whether she entertaining, going on family outings or celebrating their birthdays. Friends and family love gatherings decorated by Jennifer because of all the attention to detail to make it special. Growing up, Jennifer taught swimming lessons, and provided childcare. She is an assistant principal in a Kindergarten through third grade elementary school building. She loves visiting new places and learning about it's history and culture; no matter how near or far. She looks forward to sharing those experiences with a child. I can't wait to see her in action! Jennifer will be taking time away from school when a baby arrives.

I Like to say that Darren always has a twinkle in his eye! Darren is a fun loving, generous and caring person. His special interests are biking, surfing, exercise, and is pretty handy around the house. He is a great cook, and never ceases to amaze me in taking an ordinary meal and putting a new spin on it to not only be healthy but to be very tasty as well. Growing up Darren played the saxophone and continues to play today with other musical family members. Darren is a chiropractor and has a passion for really caring for and helping people. He loves being around children who think of him as a "fun grown-up". I know he will be a wonderful father for a child. It is nice that Darren's office is only about 5 miles away.

Our home is casual & relaxed and has a great backyard for our child to play. We have been planning for the changes a baby will bring to our lives for years. The nursery is just a few steps from our bedroom on the main floor. There is a pool in the backyard where many times in the summer we have family get- togethers. Our neighborhood is safe and has many children for playmates. We chose our community because of its reputable school district in preparation for a child.
