About Edward

I was born on Long Island, New York the eldest of two children of Lawrence and Arleen. Growing up, I emulated my dad and mom. Growing up, my father taught me how to use tools and always allowed me to help him fix things around the house. Through him, I became confident and capable and learned how to tackle projects competently and safely. His guidance allowed me to become the property manager for a large community. My mother taught me everything she knew in the kitchen. Through her, my love for cooking was born. She was my inspiration to go to the French Culinary Institute and train to be a chef. Both of my parents made me who I am today, a family-oriented guy who loves spending time building things, cooking, and gardening. I can't wait for the day that I can guide and instill these values in my child.

About Gerald

I was born in a small town in Upstate New York the youngest of four kids of Gerald Sr. & Patricia. While my family was close, I always aspired to more than a small town life. At eighteen, I left home to pursue my bachelor’s degree. Although I moved to another small town, the experience opened my eyes to a whole new world. And though I went to college for culinary arts, I found my real calling working in higher education administration. My studies have taken me across New York, from Verona, to Delhi, to Cortland, and finally to Stony Brook, where I’m now attending my final year at Long Island University to obtain my Doctorate. I love reading, running, and spending quality time with Ed and our two French bulldogs, Diego and Parker. I cherish the idea of sharing these values in my child and can't wait for the day that I can see it though.

Our Home

We live in a spacious 4-bedroom colonial with plenty of room for our future family. Our backyard is filled with beautiful flowers, a large patio surrounded by an outdoor kitchen, living room and dining room.

Our home is nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street, just steps from several beautiful parks, church’s, an elementary school, and a respected private high school. We are minutes from several beaches, and only a short train-ride from all that New York City has to offer.

If you were to spend a day in our neighborhood, you would hear the sounds of children playing and birds chirping. You would smell barbecues cooking in the summer and fireplaces burning in the winter. Our neighbors would wave at you with a smile during an evening stroll with their families. We cannot imagine having picked a better place for a child to learn and grow and make memories.
