A few more insights into the lives we lead & the family we are. ♡
Hoping for our second blessing soon

I was wandering around a little shop last week and spied this sweetness!
"A baby is a blessing, a gift from heaven above, a precious little angel to cherish and to love."\
It made me feel so grateful for the opportunity to be parents to our son and that we might soon make a connection with another amazing woman who'll place this ultimate trust in us. We promise to honor that decision every day by showering our children with love, guidance, stability, encouragement to bring out their unique talents, abilities and set them on a path of life-long success and happiness.

summertime fun
DC is a great place for adventures during the summers. Sure it gets a little humid and sticky but there are so msny anazing museums to check out. Cool, air conditioned museums! LOL.
Our community also has some superb programs and weekly events at the local libraries. From yoga with baby and momma to music and motion, there's activities for itty bitty babies and for our toddler to enjoy. All learning, reading, and having fun. We've been so impressed with our community's commitment to early education in such a fun manner!
For outdoor fun, the neighbourhood parks offer a break from the hot sun....there are so super hiking trails in beautiful woods and we even have a pool in our community, complete with kiddie pool so there's another option to beat the heat.
Summer brings the community festivals and fairs and events at historic homes. Every weekend we have some new adventure planned in our, or a neighbouring town. There's never a dull moment around here!
If our fun-filled family sounds like a good fit for your hopes for your little one, get in touch! We'd love to get to know yoy!

Snow!!!!
After a pretty mild Christmas, we're all pretty excited about the prospect of snow this weekend. In fact, as I type this a few fluffy snowflakes are falling... but the BIG snow is coming on Friday. We're ready with the super-warm snowsuit for our son and a bright, shiny, new, red sled. We know just the spot in the neighbourhood to try it out. Where I grew up in the UK it *never* snowed, so i'm just a big kid at heart for winter fun.
I'm looking forward to seeing a great big grin and hearing squeals of delight from all of us... these fun moments that turn into cherished memories.
